The location is very good for Monterey, prices always reasonable, staff friendly, rooms pretty big (I suggest spending a couple of extra dollars and getting a fireplace in the room), parking is free and price includes breakfast (which is better than you may expect).

For a 3-star hotel and the price, you really cannot complain here. The staffs were very friendly and helpful the whole time (we locked ourselves out of our room and had to bug the front desk and the lady was super nice about it). They also have nice warm breakfast provided. The only downside is that the walls are thin and you may hear some noise from the hallway as people walk by.

This is a nice, reasonably-priced hotel. The location is great for walking to downtown and even to Cannery Row. It's even better on days when the trolley is running. The hotel is a bit older but still in really good shape. We stayed in an oversized room and was pleased with all the space. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The automatic nightlights in the bathroom were a nice touch. Liked that the sink was separate from the tub/toilet. The elevators that takes you from the parking lot directly to your room floor were very convenient. The internet was reliable. Breakfast was good, and the coffee was even better. Wish the hotel had more space to eat breakfast. I really enjoyed the cookies and coffee that were always available at the front desk. Overall, my family enjoyed our stay.

A great place to stay in Monterey. Convenient to everything. Easy parking, nice large rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. I always stay here when visiting Monterey.
