Awesome Rooms, Great Location, Good Breakfast!

The reception staff are extremely friendly. We got a corner room on the 2nd floor which had 2 windows. The room was quite large, beds were comfortable and clean, bathroom was very clean. Car parking is complimentary unlike other downtown hotels. Breakfast had a good selection of muffins, coffee rolls, bagels, breads, apple/orange juice, cheerios/rice crispies/raisin bran cereals, apples/bananas, boiled eggs, milk, and coffee. Very conveniently located in downtown Monterey although not much from way of views from the Hotel room. Will keep returning to this place for all of the other pluses and their competitive room rates.-Sactrip, California.

Fantastic!

Pleasant, professional and helpful staff. Clean and modern hotel (looks to be a year or two old at the most)
Very large and spacious rooms (fantastic beds)
Quiet, no street noise. Location - 2 mins from main street Monterey and 5 mins from Hwy 1
Complimentary breakfast (nice selection of teas)
Free parking. To be perfectly honest, I was very wary of booking a Best Western PLUS at $170/night but surprisingly it turned out to be the best hotel experience I had during my 9 day trip to N. California!! If I were to return to Monterey this hotel would be my first choice. Kudos to the management and the staff who were perfectly attentive to all our needs. The complimentary continental breakfast was well stocked and there was plenty of tables to sit at. It is within easy drive to restaurants and attractions. - NealF, Toronto, Canada.

Great Stay.

My husband and I stayed here May 8-9 2009. We did not have reservations and we were immediately accommodated. We had a king sized room which was comfortable, clean and quiet. The continental breakfast was adequate and consisted of a variety of juices, pastries, boiled eggs and other usual items. It is centrally located and in walking distance of the Wharf. The hotel next door is under construction but we were gone during the day so we did not hear any noise. We would definitely stay here again. -Ginger71, Dallas, TX.

Clean Room + Hotel - Excellent Staff - Pleasant, business like -helpful, will come + stay here again and tell my family and friends. We especially liked the motion lights in the bathroom. The continental breakfast was very good!!!
